On March 17, 1906, at seven in the morning, a strange caravan stops at the San Marco station in Livorno.
It includes wagons, horses, stagecoaches. The circus, because it is a circus, is the grandiose, famous, “Wilde West Show” by William Frederick Cody (1846–1917), better known as Buffalo Bill. After his adventurous life, in fact, Buffalo Bill founded a successful circus in 1883, which embarked on a major tour in Europe.
