I was only three years old but I didn’t miss an episode of “Gianburrasca’s little magazine”, a television drama that aired in 1864/65, based on the book by Vamba, directed by Lina Wertmüller. I remember following it with the same attention and understanding as now and that the vision involved the whole family, especially my mother and my grandmother were as crazy about it as I was. We really liked the young Rita Pavone in the role of the terrible Giannino Stoppani, she was one of us, with a simple and clean face.
